TEDX VVCE

‘Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.’ Following the great words of Nelson Mandela, enthusiastic students of Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering have taken the initiative of bringing Mysore its fourth TEDx event and have set the bar. VVCE will become the first VTU affiliated college to host a TEDx event in Mysuru.

A TEDx event is a local gathering where live TED-like talks and videos previously recorded at TED conferences are shared with the community. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis. The content and design of each TEDx event is unique and developed independently, but all of them have features common which cater to a global change Likewise, the event is curated with a perfect blend of mind igniting talks and show stopper performances. The event is said to have 10 eminent speakers from around 10 different domains who will be giving talks revolving around the theme of the event, “Joining the Dots”. The word ‘dots’ metaphorically represent the different domains or aspects of life which when joined together in a meaningful way, culminates into the change we need today.

TEDxVVCE will take place on 13th October 2019 at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, Mysuru.
