Mr. Iqbal Dhaliwal, Deputy Executive Director, Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), Economics Department, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology, Cambridge will discuss how evidence is incorporated into policy making, the constraints on greater adoption of evidence-based policy, and suggest specific ways that stronger policy-research partnerships can help overcome these constraints during the MYRA Distinguished Lecture on ‘From Research to Action: Using Evidence to Inform Policy’. The event will be presided by Mr. D V Prasad, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to Government of Karnataka & Development Commissioner.
