Renowned IT company, Infosys Technologies has built the world's biggest corporate training facility for IT professionals in Mysore. The Rs. 260 crore corporate training centre has been set up by Infosys, which adds 12,000 employees every year. The US $ 60 million training centre is housed in a 270 acre campus at Mysore, the city known for its academic and research institutions and heritage buildings and palaces constructed by the Mysore Maharajas Mysore is being developed as a secondary IT city to Bangalore by the Karnataka Government offering them various facilities. The expansion of the Mysore airport, Mysore-Bangalore road into four-lane and doubling of Mysore-Bangalore road are also under progress Infosys, Mysore employs a large number of IT professionals every year. There are around one thousand and five hundred software trainees being recruited in this place. The development center here have two blocks meant for developing software. There are facilities for video- conferencing, discussion rooms and testing labs, in order to create an excellent environment for training.
